Exam’s Rules for Cambrian School

Weekly Exam

01.   Weekly exam for three subjects will be held on Saturday in every week.

02.   If school is closed on Saturday weekly exam will be held on next working day.

03.   Each subject of weekly exam will contain 25 marks and time is 45 minutes.

04.   Instead of weekly and practical exams, no book, note book, lecture sheet, school bag etc. will be brought to school.

05.   For each subject 100tk will be penalized if someone misses the weekly exam. No re-exam will be taken.

06.   Achieved number of weekly exam will be added with the Term Exam. So every weekly exam is essential.

Term Exam

01.  Two Term Exams will be detained before the Final Exam

02.   Time and Mark of Term Exam will be same as Final Exam but in a selected syllabus.

03.   20% of achieved number in Term Exams will be added with the final exam.

04.   Student’s section will be changed on base of the term exam’s result.

05.   For each subject 500tk will be penalized if someone misses the term exam.

06.   With parents attendance the result of the term exam will be published. Parents must be present in parent’s day. Without parents or legal guardian (if they are in life) the result will not be provided to any relative or local guardian.

Final Exam

01.  Final Exam will be held with 100 marks of each subject. If someone misses this exam or gets below 50% marks, student must not get promotion to the next class.

02.  For the class VIII, an exam will be held on 100 marks of each subject in full syllabus before the JSC examination. No student will be selected for the JSC exam if student gets below 50% marks in this exam.

03.  For the class X, the test exam will be held on 100 marks of each subject. Student must not be selected for SSC exam by getting below 50% marks in Test exam.

04.  After Final exam BSB-Cambrian Performance Award will be provided to 10 students by considering their results, attendance in the classes, attitude etc.

Other Rules

01.  Every Exam will be observed according to the academic calendar. Parents as well as students will be informed if any suspension of exam takes place due to natural disaster or any other reason.

02.  Students must carry the school selected plastic bag to bring pens, pencils, calculator, eraser, ruler etc. Lending pens, pencils from other student in exam room will not be done.

03.  There is no extra fee for the exams however remaining tuition fee along with the fine (if there is any) must be paid before term and final exam to collect the admit card. Without admit card no student will be able to seat for the exam.

04.  Every exam is unavoidable. Students must attend the exam in a sickbed if it is needed.

05.  Achieving below 50% marks in all exams of school section, student will be considered unsuccessful.

06.  Students can give re-exam once by paying 500tk for each subject if they do not attend any following exam,
such as: Test, Pretest, Model test, Term or Final exam.

07.  Any type of illegal activity will be the reason of rusticate from school and hostel.
