Hostel
1. Smoking & politics are strictly prohibited in Cambrian Hostel so residential students will not be able to do smoking & politics as well.
2. Student can not use own mobile phone, if it is found it will be seized with a penalty of TK 5000 and hostel authority reserves the right to expel the student.
3. It is strictly forbidden to keep any type of arms, scissors, Knife, Wakitoki, Camera, CD-VCD, Microphone, CD player, FM Radio, Water Heater, Recorder, MP3/MP4/MP5 player in the hostel.
4. Boys are allowed to go outside of the hostel for personal purposes three times in a week at evening from 5-30pm to 6-30pm in summer time and in winter from 5-00pm to
6-00pm by doing entry their name in the register book. Beside the permitted time if any student needs to go urgently a written permission will be needed from hostel authority with guardian acknowledgment. Hostel authority is not responsible for any type of problem during this time.
5. A student will be expelled instantly without any prior notice for keeping any types of drugs or fighting with others or getting found a criminal by law or involving any illegal social activities.
6. If a student becomes sick first aid will be given and guardian will be bound to pay the treatment cost. Hostel authority will not be responsible for any normal or abnormal dead and any accident.
7. It is better not to use any expensive items in hostel and it will be student’s responsibility if s/he wants to use. No complain will be accepted to the hostel authority in case of any stolen or lost goods.
8. Gossiping/chatting is fully restricted in the hostel rooms. If any one is found s/he will be penalized 1st time 500Tk & 1000Tk for the 2nd time, in case of 3rd time it will be a reason of expel from the hostel. Dining space will be open for all from 5pm to 7pm to do group study. In a holiday/preparatory leave day students will study by being in their own room.
9. Without principal’s permission no student can stay in hostel during class time. College authority will be informed by hostel super if a student is sick.
10. From hostel to college and college to hostel, students will come by themselves. If any student escapes from the hostel or becomes involved in any unexpected matter during this time as well as stays outside of hostel at night his/her seat will be canceled.
11. Though students get all teaching materials from college therefore this materials must not be transferred from one room to another. If any student steals or makes damaged other’s goods s/he will be penalized as well as expelled.
12. After completing college hours students must come back to hostel within 30 minutes. If they are late for any obligatory matter hostel super must be informed.
13. Walls, floor, doors and windows must not be grubby or broken. Writing as well painting on the wall must not be done. A minimum of 10,000Tk fine will be collected for repainting and repairing.
14. The decision of hostel authority will be final in case of distributing the seats. Authority reserves the right to change any student’s seats or hostel any time. Based on term exam and final exam student’s seat is changed so no excuse will be accepted.
15. Without selected guardian no body can be allowed to meet students. In case of girls, they only be permitted to go outside with the nominated guardian.
16. Without any notice hostel authority reserves the right to search all rooms or any individual room of the hostel.
17. 50Tk will be penalized for each day if any student is not able to pay hostel fees within 5 days of month starting.
18. If any student leaves hostel in 1st year or becomes expelled for breaking hostel rules or gets TC or take TC s/he has to pay the total fees for one year which is 36,000Tk. In case of 2nd year the rule is same.
19. Hostel authority will not be responsible for any type of problem regarding gas, electricity and water supply. Authority can shut the whole hostel for any natural disaster.
20. From 12am to 6am room’s light must be switched off. In that time nobody can go other room or sleep without own room. All students are bound to use net during sleeping time wake up at 6am. Anybody must not be disturbed at sleeping time.
21. If any student gets TC or take TC s/he must leave the hostel.
